Tanya Gajdosik

Speech-Language Pathologist

Tanya Gajdosik received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders with a minor in psychology and her Masters of Science in Communication Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University. Tanya is a member of ASHA (the American Speech-Language Hearing Association) and maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). She holds her Department of Public Health License from the State of Connecticut and her provisional teaching certificate. She has supervised SLPAs and has served as a Clinical Fellowship supervisor, completing coursework in productive and successful supervision of new and developing SLPs in the field.

Tanya started her career working with elementary, middle, and high school aged children within the public school setting before transitioning to the private practice setting where she worked with children from 20 months to 18 years old. She has worked with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, Down Syndrome, cortical visual impairment, speech sound disorders, expressive, receptive, and/or pragmatic language disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders, and fluency disorders. Tanya focuses on tailoring therapy to meet the needs of each individual child and their family. She incorporates play, personal interests, and assistive technology to best support each child’s communication skills and functional needs. In her free time, Tanya enjoys trying out new restaurants, baking, reading, and traveling.
